fun times

It's all fun and games when you live in a house with trees like ours......I'm pretty sure who did it and let me tell you that payback hurts......LOL........game on!!!!! Came home last night from a party (which I will be posting about here soon) and found this!!!!!!

Our friends Deb and Dan just got a brand, spanking new pool. It TOTALLY ROCKS and I think that Wolfie's found a new home!!!!!! Thanks for having him over and letting him play
in the grotto!!!!

sometimes when you live with someone......

they start to rub off on you. Do you remember an older post where Rob was being super strict on what went into the laundry as far as the kids clothes go? You know how kids wear something and then just throw it on the ground dirty or not. Maybe they tried it on and are to lazy to fold it back up or hang it back up? Okay well sometimes that theory worked and he did save me from doing about 4 loads of laundry total in the last 5 years. Thanks baby!!!

Okay so last night I worked the evening shift at work. No one from the day shift really saw me or saw what I was wearing. I'm not a sweater nor do I just get dirty while sitting at my desk at work on the computer for 5 hours straight. So if I wear the same shirt again today (DAY CREW PEOPLE) will it matter? I did the sniff test and there's nothing on the shirt that would give it away that I showered, put the shirt on, drove to work, came home and took it off immediately in favor for pj's.

So what do you think Internet friends? Is that totally out of the question? LOL

Yes, I know there are more important things in the general scheme of LIFE out there to consider......for example:

1) Where did the Hindenburg really catch on fire? Is where the fire started really as controversial as history says it is? Or were the paparazzi at the time just looking to make
a mountain out of a molehill ?

2) The main theories of why this tragedy happened are:

Sabotage theory

Static spark theory

Lightning theory

Engine exhaust sparks theory

Fire's initial fuel

The incendiary paint theory

The hydrogen theory

Puncture theory

Personally I thinks it was just too darn big to be flying around in the air and someone was sneaking a cig in the bathroom and BOOM.



So all this being said does it really matter if I wear a shirt for two days in a row?

It's not totally clear because it's a picture of a picture....but you get the idea.....big glasses and Rob was loving the short short shorts!!!! The good thing about this picture is my vintage Louis Vuitton I'm holding......sad to say it was sold on E-Bay several years ago!!!!!

I know that this one of Rob may scare most people. His love of the man bag goes way back and he's never been scared to wear it!!!! When Wolfie saw this picture he thinks his dad looks like the ultimate tourist!!

my job

I love my job.....I get to work with people like this.......totally cool and hilarious!!!!!!
She leaves me "love notes" and seriously makes me laugh.....I didn't think I would meet anyone as random, funny and filled with a greater purpose than her.......but I did.....I met her!!!!!!

Then you meet someone totally rocking and they get a new job and leave you in the cubicle all alone........in the fetal position.......life is much quieter at work.......but no need to really say goodbye thanks to the magic of e-mail and cell phones ! Geez people it's not like she's leaving the state or anything....well right now at least........

This was at Sonja's good bye party last weekend. We hit the downtown and WOW was it dead. I was hoping I could show the out of towners a good time with all the crowds but I think that graduation weekend keep everyone busy and out of the downtown. It was still fun and we ended up in a local county place with a great band playing.

There is a local photographer here in my town that's amazing.....I really admire her work and someday really want her to get pic's of my kids together. You can check out her "photography blog" and see why her photos rock. She's got a great eye for what works and you have to love her famous shadow shot!!!!!

I love to check out her slideshows and get an eye for how she likes to take photos. She's taken photos of lots of our friends and just amazing talent right here in our hometown........be sure to bookmark the blog and check back often.

exhausted

It's been a long but great weekend! Actually I should say it's been a long week. Besides working there's been a ton of things to take care of. It was the last week of school, last week of girl scout brownies, getting teacher gifts, forgetting to get 700 Popsicles for field day at school, basketball practice, lots of trips to Wal Mart, basketball scrimmage, getting the house ready for a graduation party, brownie girl scout swim party, 6th grade promotion, last day at work for a wonderful friend at work, birthday parties this weekend, niece graduation, goodbye party sat night for work friend and then we come to today....Sunday......total exhaustion.

I sleep in till about 8AM and then blogged on the computer for a few hours.....I went back to sleep till around 1:30 PM and could of keep sleeping no problem. The kids wants to go to the Davis Arboretum and have a bit of a picnic. Then Wolfie had a few friends come over and swim and I decided that I really wanted to just veg so I put on my suit and layed by the pool while the swimming went on. It was so nice to just listen to my body and take it easy.

Around 6:00 PM Wolfie asked "Are we still going to Davis ?" Ummm no...sorry son!!! Then Rob came up with a great idea to take the kids to see Pirates 3 at the movies. I have to say I did like the movie. It had some great lines and both the kids loved it.

So it's back to the busy life of being a mom on Monday......but that's cool....it's what I do!!

Dragons.......

Wolfie (35) is on the dragons basketball team......it's a traveling team and they learn so much about basketball and have great coaches. He's lucky to play with his boi (10) J-Dawg. It's hard to get great shots in the gym's due to the light in the gyms. They have been playing great and comes home ready to drop after the practices!!!

lexi got an award the other day at school for being a sensational story writer. All the kids got some sort of award and it was very nice the way the teachers handed them out. Lexi was very excited to get this award!
