I want to apologize first of all for using a lot of .com's in my blog titles. For some reason it's just fun and I can't stop....so bear with me for a while and let me play it out !! So I gave my notice at work yesterday. I'm happy to report there were no tears but a little mist did start to get in my eyes but it quickly went away when I thought about all the cute open toed shoes I can now wear to my new job ! Even though the holiday season is rough...it wasn't that rough.....but the schedule is. I wanted something more flexible and the ability to be at each and every basketball game of my kids if humanly possible. I really did/do love my job in a lot of ways. Full time just isn't for me/us and the kids. So I will be starting a new job in a law office that's about 30 hours a week. My sister in law works there and so does this fellow blogger. I think it's going to be great to not have to use a time clock, wear open toed shoes and be home in the afternoon for my kiddos. We always take something away with us when we move on and I"m going to take so much away from this job. I think that 2008 is going to be a RAWKING year for many reasons and I'm ready to get this party started !!!! Who's with me ?

Me! Me! You go, Steph! I gotta say, even with Sarah grown and gone and Laura 17, I still want to be home for her! I have my tiny part time job (12 yrs. a week??) and the rest of my time is filled with my girl, my dogs, my knitting . . . and anything else I can find to keep from doing housework! LOL!
Well, let's get that party started, say, THIS friday!!! COngrats on your new venture! I can't wait to have you home after school too!!
Sounds like the best of both worlds Steph! Congrats! Be sure to hit the after xmas sales to snag a new open-toe wardrobe of say 25 or more pairs? :) LOL
