Wacky Wednesday!!!

Hey everyone!!! It's WACKY Wednesday!!! It's a FUN DAY!!!! Okay my sister in law Wendy beat me to putting Thanksgiving photos up. I think she was secretly coveting the photos I took and was trying to copy my style. WHATEVER!!! :-)

Here is my sister in law Marcey and myself doing the backwards friends thing. You can tell that she's a hair stylist cause my hair is dry and flyaway and her's is curled perfect and very much in awesome condition!!! We almost put our butts in the frame so you
guys got really lucky it was just our heads!!!

We had a very nice Thanksgiving at my in laws house and everyone was there!!! It's a place where you can have two "heaping" plates of food and no one cares. Well one sil might call you on it but you can still chow down and not care!!! LOL

Rob borrowed a friends Nikon for some family photos this last weekend. It was hard to keep my hands off it!!!! Here's my sweet girl...

Going, Going...GONE

The long hair..it's gone...for now. He was ready for a hair cut and it was either this or a mohawk. Hey if the boy wants a mohawk I don't care it's his hair. I think he realized that he would be very Mike Bibby'ish after the MoHawk was all done and he wasn't "down" with that short of hair.

After church on Sunday he was ready for the cut. We went to the local Supercuts and sat down and he wanted to look at the hair books. We looked through them and he didn't really see anything he liked. So we got up and left!!!

Right before we leave to celebrate Thanksgiving with my sister and her family he decided that he wants Daddy to cut it. Daddy loves to cut him some hair!!!

Well it's Turkey Day today!!! Gobble Gobble to all of you....hope you have a super day and eat lots of mashed potatoes!!!! YUMMY!!!! I love my mil's gravy and can't wait!!!

I know I had been lagging on my blog. My sil said she's sick of seeing my tennis shoes. I'm trying to find some cool stuff to blog....but since I can't really talk on my blog about work stuff....your stuck with an old boyfriend story!!!

Oh my

Well today was Friday at work and also payday. It's a great day to just be casual. So I wear my favorite jeans and decide that I'm going to wear my tennis shoes. For those of you that know me in real life...you know that this does not happen very often at all. So here I am strolling down the aisle of my friendly local Wal Mart and I also have sanitary pads and Metamucil in my cart. So I'm dressed like Shrek doing an impersonation of Sporty Spice goes to work on casual friday. Yeah I was looking hot. Fo Sho....Then I see him...the ghost of my past...the dreaded ex boyfriend.

I spy him cause he's to freakishly tall and do the "oh crap" my ex boyfriend is in Wal Mart duck and cover. He's with his wife but still I don't want to say hi and do that whole "thang". I think he must live in Davis cause this is the 2nd time I have seen him there. So we miss each other and that's fine with me. It ended alright. I left him crying and listening to A-Ha and Asia as his heart healed!! :-)

Funny thing to this story is when I was dating him in high school I went with his family to Tahoe and shared a cabin with another family and their kids. Well one of their kids invited a friend to Tahoe also and that friend was my hubby Rob. I really didn't give him the time of day cause I was all wrapped up in the giant boy. Two years later Rob and I meet were working together and he asked me out. I said yes and it's been 18 years later.

So the next time your in Wal Mart buying pads be sure to stack the frozen pee's over them cause you never know who you might see!!!

Okay I'm so awake now!!! LOL Sorry but Mondays and Tuesdays kick my butt and I'm really just exhausted at night. I'm better now!!! Whew didn't mean to scare any of you!!! Okay so my TIVO shows are pretty good right now.

House of Carters: WOW it's a train wreck that I can't turn away from. Want to feel better about your own dysfunctional life? Just watch this show about the 5 Carter siblings and you will instantly feel like your floating on a cloud!!! These kids are MESSED up !

Gene Simmons Family Jewels: Okay I wasn't a big KISS fan but I love this show. Even though he won't marry Shannon Tweed they have been together like a billion years. They have two adorable teenagers and are really a very loving family. He's way into himself and quite the businessman but it's quite an entertaining show. It's fun when Shannons sister comes to visit cause she's a crazy Aunt and lots of fun!!!

The Bachelor: Oh poor Prince Lorenzo. Which girl will he choose? Did you see the previews for next week ? The one lone single tear falling down his cheek? I wanted to slap Sadie when he gave her the fantasy suite card.....yes I agree with her morals and values...but just cause you go to the fantasy suite....does not mean...well you mature viewers know what I'm talking about. Who will he pick?

Save Me From My House: Love this mostly British house re-do show. A family writes in and their house just isn't working for them but they don't want to move out. A team comes in , evualates and re-does some stuff to make it work for them!!! I like the ideas and am always struggling with a smart thing to do for our piles of shoes. Jesus really had the right idea about shoes. Either a pair of flip flops ( okay old school Teva's) or barefoot. None of this "Well I have to have black and brown work shoes and then white and ivory shoes for the summer and all the weekend shoes also" Keep It Simple is a great motto!!!

Then there is Survivor and I hope that Jul takes it to the end. I like him and think he's a cool player. I also like Ozzy and when the team of 4 took both challenges in the last show.....we were yelling like mad at the TV!!!!

LOST: Okay how an they do this to us? Feb 7th? They won't be back till then? GOODNESS....it was just getting good. Go JACK with his bad self the last show!!!!

So other then that I TIVO House Hunters, Oprah, The View and I think that's about it. Can't wait for Entourage to come back on!!!

to blog....to do anything but go to work..come home....drive kids around....feed kids.....check my e-mail...catch up on some TIVO.....make dinner.....or watch Rob make dinner......tired.....



EDITED: I just read what I wrote and realize how down and out it sounded....I'm fine....just tired...the rainy weather makes me want to stay in bed....

Strange that our DSL works but not the phone......need to get McGuyver on it ASAP!!!

Teaser Photos!!!!

Okay I'm working on getting all my photos done and in a slideshow. The Buzz Lightyear ride was really fun and at the end of the ride you can e-mail your photo to yourself.





It really is one of the happiest places on earth. The atmosphere there is just magical. It can really make you forget all your troubles and make you feel like a kid.

Even in Disneyland......

You can find a GoldenDoodle dog!!! I keep seeing this woman walking around with this HUGE beast. She was training her as a service dog. Someday I will have a dog with doodle in it!!!

the trip

Was lots of fun....I took almost 400 photos and Rob took two tapes of digital film footage of the trip. This will take me a little bit to post all of the photos and details. We had a great time and the weather was amazing. So Rob got a job at Disney and I will be working the Splash Mountain ride. Sorry folks we are out of here.....just joking...I do love LA. There is something really "cool" about it. BUT we wont' be moving anytime soon. They would really have to do something about the traffic!!!

I got the shirt I"m wearing from a cool website that I read FUSSY. She sells the shirts there and I wanted to see the response I got from wearing it there. Well it was very well read the entire day at Disneyland and I got a ton of comments on it. That's how my trip started. With a blogging shirt on and Mickey Mouse to explore!!!!
