"I'm not 5 Birthday Party "

Our friend Josh had a great "I'm not turning 5 birthday party" today at our local pumpkin patch ! I know it looks like I'm forcing him to be in the "self portrait" shot but he wanted to do it !! I love fall birthdays......so much fun to have at your local "WORLDS LARGEST CORN MAZE" pumpkin patch ! The weather was beautiful and the friends to chat with even better!

Rob's dad had a birthday on Saturday. We had Rob's family over for a delicious BBQ. The wind died down and made for a wonderful evening in the backyard !

A few Saturday's ago we went to the Bay Area and had dinner with Chris and Laura and their new baby Cara. She's very sweet and very cute and I got some cuddle time in !

when I grow up

I want to be a photographer. I get my love of taking pictures from my mom. When I was little she always had her camera with her and took photos. Lots of them. Of course being the consumate willing model I never got sick of it but people around me did. LOL....Sometimes taking the time to smile and pose can be a pain....but the fun that you have looking at the photos is always cool. Most of the time when I think back on memories I see things in slideshows with music. I know it sounds weird but I put alot of life's memories into little storiers with music. Strange but it's true.

a good life

our 12 year old max went to doggie heaven today. he's been getting these lumps in his throat, growing and affecting his breathing and stuff. the vet called this morning and told us what we already had a feeling about. he had cancer. poor guy....even at the age of 12 he thought he was a puppy. he would burp, fart and drool on just about anyone who came over. he was a real piece of work ! he didn't really listen to great and had a mind of his own. he learned to "tolerate" chloe the cat and if he had his druthers would of eaten her for a mid-afternoon snack.

rob got max at the pound in antioch. from the moment he came home he's been a feisty puppy. he's never once made a agressive move to the kids and would tolerate lexi painting him with water and paint brushes when she was a toddler. he protected the yard from cats and loved when the squirrels came down to "play" . max was wolfie's first dog and a boy never forgets his first dog.

he was a good dog all in all and we will miss him. he's with king the cat and hopefully he's made a friend out of her and not a midnight snack!! we love you max ! you will always be our boy !

i took the kids out for a photo session sunday evening. i wanted to go downtown and use the cool brick walls and some other stuff i found....but the kids wanted to head out to the ranch. we had fun and wolfie even got in a little driving lesson. check it out

its good, better than high school. that stuff made me want to puke. ive mostly eaten salads but i eat whatever looks good to me.

its been really sunny latey and really nice. mostly in the 60s and it was 71 one time i think.

um...i dont think any of them are hard, a bit stressful but not hard. though i have a lot of writing in english which i hate doing cause the pieces have to be 500 words or more....grrr...

Happy 5th Birthday Josh !

Our buddy, and new neighbor, turned 5 today ! He does not want to turn 5 today and wants to stay 4 forever. Hopefully Trina will get a great movie of him talking about this and post it on her blog. It's really sad and funny all at the same time!!! So Josh you can't turn back time my friend so enjoy the year of being 5 ! I wish I was 5 again !! Well maybe 25 !

a prayer please

Our friend Jun went in for a kidney transplant today. It's been a long year for Jun and Julie. Please pray for them.......His sister donated one of her kidneys.

just heard from Julie....Jun is going well and his sister Dorothy who donated the kidney is already in recovery. Please keep praying for an easy recovery and healing for Jun and his sister.

Justice for Girls

Lexi went to Anna Grace's birthday party this weekend!! Happy Birthday Anna Grace!! Hope you had a great birthday weekend!!!! Thanks for inviting Lexi to the party! She had so much fun !!! I'm sure that Vicki will post some great photos of the party on her Wooly Bully Blog !

Happy 16th Tay !

Taylor's birthday was today. It's his Golden Birthday ! He's turning 16 on the 16th!!! We met them at the Spaghetti Factory for one of his fav meals!!! Taylors a great kid and my kids just adore him!! He's a junior in high school and we have two more years before he heads away to college ! He's getting ready to drive, runs cross country, is in the jazz band at school and is just a great all around kid. He's actually got a GREAT sense of humor and can really make people laugh!!!

good morning bloggers !

It's 6:15 AM, YES you heard me right, in the MORNING and I"m getting ready to head to work. Everyone has to take one for the team and work one weekend a month. So this is my weekend. The good thing is I get of work around 3pm....that's not to bad!

I need to admit something to you my blogging friends......I hope your sitting down right now. Well where else would you be ? A cool Internet bar ? All bellied up to the bar with your laptop and favorite coffee drink ? Well maybe you are......if you are sit down.....I DID NOT get on the computer last night ! Didn't check blogs, Flickr or even my e-mail. By the time I got home from work, did laundry, watched Rob eat dinner, made Rob run errands with me, got home and folded the laundry I was ready to sit down and watch a little TV. Oh yeah and read my new Garnet Hill and Sephora catalogs. Oh yeah and watch iCarly with Lexi. Is this a spin off show ? Where did Drake and Josh go ? I'm so confused!

We had a nice evening last night complete with bikes, sweet jumps, riding a scooter over to the G's house, seeing Pop and Shirley, kids playing in a court, a neighborhood cat going to the bathroom 1 foot from Trina and I, a glass of wine and tacos!! What a nice mix of fun !!!!

wheeeee for me

well it's really wheeeee for us....but wheeeee for me rhymes....and rhyming is always the best route to go !!! The kids real mother (sounds SICK, since it's her brothers kids, but she feels like she's their mother, it's a feeling people) wanted to see them this weekend. Rob and I jumped on that bandwagon and met up with her at the Krispy Kreme in Pinole. We then thought it might be good to eat some actual food before the sugar, laden goodness. We had a quick but very nice meal at Panda Express and then ran back to KK as fast as we could. a big blur

We had a great weekend.......it was filled with wine by the pool, pizza at Round Table, walking to Trina's "court to be" and seeing if the house was move in ready yet, kids all over the house, swimming, multiple trips to Safeway and WalMart, BBQ, floating, lots of laundry, tubing on Berryessa at 9pm at night, with no glasses on, and praying Lou does not flip Lorraine and I off, naps, waking up early, my new Palm Treo Phone (Yeeeee), my kids fighting bad, packing up video games that they can't play for a while, homework, night swimming, In N Out Burger at 10 PM and watching a possible fight in the works and one of the best things of the weekend.....ROCKING Pina Coladas.......ROCK ON PINA!!!!!
